I built 4x4DesignCo in the dirt — where knobby tires bite, gas fumes linger, and every line drawn has torque behind it. But somewhere between sketching lifted rigs and bombing forest roads, I realized the garage was getting too full to stay one lane wide. From slammed wagons to desert runners, drift missiles to farm trucks — if it’s got wheels and soul, I want to draw it. That’s why I fired up Automotive Design Co — the umbrella brand fueling the whole machine, including our latest offshoot: 2WD Design Co. Don’t worry, the mud-slinging soul of 4x4DesignCo isn’t going anywhere — we just widened the garage doors.

Hi, I’m Miranda—the artist, illustrator, and creative force behind Automotive Design Co. My work lives at the intersection of off-road adventure and hand-drawn storytelling. With a background in both the arts and the trades, I’ve spent years turning real-world rigs, muddy memories, and outdoor grit into custom illustrations that people can wear, frame, or proudly slap on their toolboxes. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind vehicle portrait or a full-scale coloring book, everything I create is rooted in authenticity and a deep love for the outdoors.
I’ve been a freelance digital artist for over six years, completely self-taught, and fueled by Yerba Mate, curiosity, and the open road. My journey has taken me from the world of dental craftsmanship to the mechanic shop and now into a creative business built around the things I love most—4x4s, the wilderness, and the stories that come with both.
